This Privacy Policy explains what information the Beverage Broker Network ("BBN"), operated by BevAssets, LLC, collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using BBN, you agree to this policy.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us

• Account details: your name, email, company, title, role, and region when you sign up.
• Profile and content: anything you add to your profile, post to the community feed, list on the job board or directory, or send in messages.
• Communications: messages you send us, including through the contact form.

Information collected automatically

• Basic usage and device information, and data stored in your browser (such as your login session and preferences) needed to keep you signed in and to operate the service.

2. How we use your information

• To create and manage your account and provide BBN's features.
• To show your profile and content to other members as part of the network.
• To send you service messages, notifications, and, where permitted, updates about BBN.
• To keep BBN safe, prevent abuse, and enforce our Terms.
• To improve and promote the service.

3. How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as follows:

• With other members: your profile and the content you choose to post are visible within the network according to its features.
• With service providers who help us run BBN, such as our hosting and database providers (for example, Netlify and Supabase) and our form and email providers. They may process data only to provide services to us.
• For legal reasons: if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of BBN, our members, or others.
• In a business transfer: if BevAssets, LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

4. Cookies and browser storage

BBN uses your browser's storage to keep you signed in and remember preferences (for example, when you last checked notifications). We do not use it to track you across other websites. You can clear this storage in your browser, though doing so may sign you out.

5. Data retention

We keep your information while your account is active and as needed to provide BBN. If you delete your account, we will delete or de-identify your personal information within a reasonable period, except where we must keep it for legal, security, or backup purposes.

6. Your choices and rights

• You can view and update most of your information in your profile.
• You can delete your account, which removes your profile from the network.
• Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information. To make a request, use our contact form.

7. Security

We use reasonable measures to protect your information, but no system is completely secure. Please use a strong password and keep your login safe.

8. Children

BBN is for beverage-industry professionals and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date and, for material changes, provide notice where appropriate.
